To Switch to Grid View

The default view for the timesheet shows a traditional timesheet, where data is displayed for one employee for a given week ending. In order to view the timesheet of a different employee or different week ending, you must navigate to the timesheet using the data navigator.

 

When the timesheet is switched to Grid View, the rules are changed. Firstly the timesheet header panel is removed and the timesheet detail are decoupled from the header data to show all activities irrespective of employee or week ending. This view allows you to quickly group, sort, filter and summarize the project hours spent as you desire.

 

Notice that all rows are now visible and the all hours entered are totalled in the bottom right hand corner of the hours summary panel.
