Project Filter Tree View:

The left hand side of the display is the project tree view, which is similar to windows explorer's folder tree view. In Project Assistant it is used to display your created projects / sub projects in a hierarchical form.

Selecting an item on the tree view will filter the tabbed workbook display according to the selected project and its sub projects, allowing you to apply filters to the grid display.

Tabbed Preview Area:

This is a detail preview of the currently selected record in the tabbed workbook, since the workbook display is based on a grid there is a limit to how many columns can be displayed. The preview area acts as an extension to the grid by allowing some of the columns to be displayed a form.

The preview area itself can contain tabs allowing for you to switch between different pages of data held for a given record.

Status Bar:

Similar to most windows based programs, the status bar will be updated after particular events, to advise on its progress or outcome.
