Open A Database

To open a database, you should have already created one

From the "File" group, Click the "Open" button

Use the file selection browser to select the database to open

Select the database to open and click the Open Button.

If the database is a valid Project Assistant database, then it will be loaded otherwise the following message will be displayed:

While Project Assistant uses a standard Microsoft Access database, the file open function will first check the database schema to make sure it has been generated by Project Assistant. If it has not been generated by Project Assistant then it will not attempt to load the database. The database is also password protected to help preserve the integrity of the database structure.
