When any filter is active

An "Edit Filter" button is always presented in the bottom right hand corner of the view

The Filter Builder allows you to build more complex filters that may include filed that are not actually visible to the view.

Click this button to invoke the Filter Builder

The builder will always contain your existing filter. Notice the "Plus" and "Delete" symbols, Clicking the PLUS will add a condition, while clicking the "Delete" will remove the condition.

The builder uses three variable to build the filter,

The Logical Condition, which is currently set to 'And',

The Data Field Condition, which is currently set to the 'Subject'

The Where Condition, which is currently set to 'Contains'

The Value Condition, which is currently set to 'm'

Clicking on any of the fields will invoke a drop down which will contain all possible values, combining these conditions will result in your final filter condition.

The Logical Condition builder drop down contains all the logical expressions available to you.

The Data Filed Builder drop down, contains all the fields for the chosen view, including fields that are not currently visible.

The Comparison Condition Builder drop down, contains all the comparative expressions available.

The Value Condition Builder drop down, contains all a list of your unique data values from your data.

Your final filter will be displayed in the dialogue box, and can be applied at any time by clicking the "Apply Button'. The Filter Builder dialogue box does not need to be closed to view the results.
