There are two ways to Delete a Configuration Item

Deleting a Configuration Item (CI) will not delete the CI revisions, which if exist will become orphaned records. To prevent this, you should manually delete these records first.

 

Delete a Configuration Item

1) Select the ROW to Delete and then click the Delete toolbar button

2) Select the ROW to Delete and then Right Click the ROW to display the popup context menu, and click the Delete button

 

When you click the Delete button, a delete confirmation dialogue box will be displayed, and will identify the row you have selected for deletion.

 

If the information in the dialogue box is correct, then click OK to delete the row otherwise click Cancel and the delete command will be disregarded.
