To Add a New Timesheet
Using the mouse, click the Add button on the tab toolbar

The Timesheet will now be displayed:

Timesheet Details Panel
This section only contains the employee name and the week ending. This information is stored separately from the detail information enabling powerful summary and query information to be processed.
Your name should be automatically entered can set the week ending from the drop down box.
Ribbon Toolbar
Use the toolbar to add activity to the activity list.
Activity Details Panel
In this section, enter all the activities that you wish to enter. The following fields can be completed:
Project: Select the project to book against from the drop down box
Activity: Select an activity code. (This can be used later for grouping)
Cost Code: If you have an accounts cost code, enter here (This can be used later for grouping)
Description: Enter a description of your activity
Progress: Enter the Progress to date
Use the "+" key to increment and "-" key to decrement the progress
Daily Hours: In the Monday to Sunday columns, enter the hours worked for each day
Notes: You can enter as many rows for the week as required. They will all be stored against the employee and week ending
Task Picker
This is optional, but will allow you to pick from a Configuration Item, Technical Query, or Task from the other register. To use the task pick:
Step 1: Select the type of task you wish to pick


Step 2: Use the "Select Item" drop down to select the task to enter:

Step 2: Selected item is loaded in to the Timesheet Activity Editor,

Use the editor to enter the hours to be booked each day, then click "Save & Close" when finished.
Repeat the above for each activity to be booked, adding as many activities as required, as illustrated below:

Click Save & Close
When you have entered all your information, then simply click the Save button and the task will added and be visible to all users.
