Add Submission

To Add a New Submission record

Using the mouse, click the Add button on the tab toolbar

 

The Submission Popup Editor will now be displayed:

The Editor is divided into the following Three sections:

 

The General Information Panel

Contains peripheral information about the submission and the following fields are available for completion:

 

Project: The project for which the Submission belongs:

Issued By: Enter the originator of the Submission

Priority: Select a priority for the Submission from the drop down box

Transmittal Ref: The reference number automatically generated by project assistant.

 

Issued To: Select to whom the submission is to be sent to

Issue Type: Enter the Submission Type

Status: Select the Status of the submission from the drop down box

 

The Submission Information Panel

This panel enables you to select submittable items from the other registers, such as Technical Queries and Configuration Items. To enter the submission item  information click the submission browse button as shown below:      

 

Use the Submission Selector Dialogue box to select the items to be submitted.

The submission selector will display all your Technical Queries and Configuration items and allow to select them for submitting to your clients. By double clicking the items in the top window they will be copied to the bottom window ready for adding to the submissions register.

You can select as many items for submission as you wish, and each will be added to the register for future tracking. In the example above we have selected three items from the list.

When you have selected all your items click the save button to continue, your selection(s) will be added to the submission information panel as shown.

Note: [Multiple Selection] is used to indicate that more than one row will be created when saved.

When your done, click the Save Button on the Submission Selector and your items will be added to the Submissions Editor form.

 

 

Click Save And Close

When you have entered all your information, then simply click the Save button and the Submissions will be added and be visible to all users.
