To Add a new Appointment
Use any of the buttons on the "New" group of the ribbon toolbar, to suit the type of appointment you wish to add.

OR Using the mouse, right click anywhere on the schedule page to reveal the context menu

As you can see, there are four menu options to choose from depending upon the type of appointment that you want to create:

Depending on the type appointment to create, complete the popup for as shown below:

The following fields are available to be completed:
Subject: Enter the subject of your appointment / event
Location: Enter the location of your event, (Local Office, Man Office, Site etc)
Resource: Select the resource for whom the appointment belongs
Project: Assign the appointment to a particular project if required
Show Time As: Select how to display your time as for the appointment period
Label: Label the type of appointment created from the drop down list
Start / End Time
Enter the time and date using the drop down date navigator for the date and set the Hours, Min's and Seconds using the time spin button.

All day event:
Convert you appointment to an all day event by checking the “All Day Event” check button.
Resource
Assign the appointment to a particular project or sub project using the Resource drop down button, which will display all your currently configured projects.

Projects
Assign the appointment to a particular project

Show Time As
Display the time for this appointment as busy, free, tentative or out of office from the resource drop down box.

Reminder
If you need a reminder for the appointment, simply check the reminder check box and select when you want the reminder from the drop down box:

Comment
Enter a comment of the appointment in the free form box provided.

Click OK
When you have entered all your information, then simply click the OK button and your appointment will be added and visible to all your users.
